DPS Master Plan, Beach Court Elementary School

Beach Court Elementary is a neighborhood Denver Public School undergoing a revival, located in the Chaffee Park Community in Northwest Denver. The Original campus was built in 1925 and has continuued to expand with the neighborhood.

Modus Architecture was asked to provide a Masterplan for Beach Court Elementary to review existing heat mitigation issues and noise pollution caused from its proximity to I-70. We were also to provide an assessment of the existing facility and an exploration of options to meet the current programmatic requirements outlined by the school district and needs of the school’s community now and in the foreseeable future.
